Ive been wanting to make these healthy Twix bars for awhile! but I felt that it was such a process to make. Too many steps and too much time. So, I decided to try it out anyway using easy and simple steps. These came out so good! you have the perfect shortbread cookie, a layer of date “caramel” , and a layer of melted dark chocolate. I mean you really cant go wrong here.
I say this about every dessert I make, but these really are the perfect after dinner treat when you need to hit the sweet tooth spot. You have everything in one!
These bars are gluten free- made with coconut flour and are also vegan! its mostly sweetened by the dates itself. I made sure to make this recipe as easy as possible so that you call all make em! tag me on instagram on any desserts you make! love to see that people are actually making my recipes!!
