Pizza is on my dinner menu at least once a week in my house. Its easy, its satisfying and if you load it up with all the veggies it’s so filling. Pair it with a nice bowl of soup and you’re good to go. I feel like healthy food has this rep that it needs to be something fancy or it requires a lot of work. The truth, it is more work to make a crust than to buy a store bought one, throw sauce and cheese and done. But if you’re visiting my blog then something is telling me you want to make this quinoa crust pizza. Plus it really doesn’t require that much work.
What I love about this crust is that it only has 5 ingredients! and the major one is quinoa. quinoa is a grain, but its also a complete protien which makes this really nutritious. Thats what I love about creating healthy recipes. You’re still eating what you love just in a healthier way. Because how can we ever give up pizza?
I once had someone come up to me and tell me, “Esther, I love everything you post but I can never eat that because at the end of the day its still cookies and its still pizza”. Ummmmm yeah! thats exactly why you should eat it! and thats the whole point of eating healthy.
