A lot of people I come in contact with think that all sugar is the same. While I agree that no matter what form of sugar were eating, we definitely need to have a limit. If there is 20 grams of coconut sugar in my oatmeal or yogurt I probably wouldn’t eat it. BUT, in my opinion not all sugar is the same. Unrefined sugar doesn’t give us the spike and crash that refined sugar does. Although everyone is different, generally we feel better after eating a piece of cake thats sweetened with coconut sugar rather than white sugar. It all comes down to what makes us feel good.
